Kongnyuy Julita Bocheti, Cameroonian activist

As GBV Expert with UNFPA, Julita coordinated GBV sub cluster, worked on GBV Minimum standards implementation and GBV survivor’s economic empowerment among others. Her experience with Danish Refugee council granted her with solid knowledge on Psychosocial support delivering to GBV Survivors.
HeForShe Champion in Cameroon and one of the GBV Team Leader for the Gender Empowerment and Development (GeED) in Yaoundé Julita in for 7 a*years now strongly engaged in GBV ending.
Julita’s main objective is to help women and children fulfil their full potentials as human beings with life goals and ambitions.
Julita reminds us that “when a woman is rape, his dignity is taken away and when she is deprived of the fundamental rights to education and resources, she is further put to a risk of Gender based violence.”
