Kadiatou Konaté, guinea activist

Kadiatou, 19 is co-founder of the Young Girl Leaders Club of Guinea with more than 500 members across the country, whose mission is to fight against violence against girls. Very involved in the fight against GBV in Guinea, Kadiatou is a member of the ad hoc committee for the establishment of the national youth council with the primacy and the representative of the United Nations System. For more than four years, Kadiatou has been fighting through her organization for the eradication of child marriages, rape, female genital mutilation, physical aggression and discrimination through reporting, educational talks, mass sensitization, digital campaigns and community discussions in order to have a greater impact on the community at the grassroots level

In the face of gender-based violence, voices are raised and have made the fight against GBV their fight. Thanks to their commitment, these people change things and move the lines. Are you an activist? Contact us to share your experience and inspire others.
