Jerry Azilinon, Beninese activist

Jerry Azilinon, 25, is a Beninese activist living in Senegal. Representative of the Doyna Movement (Movement fighting Violence Against Women) and Secretary General of Yeewi (Association that fights against menstrual precariousness), he is designated HeForShe Ambassador by UN Women in 2018. His activism has also enabled him to be part of the Youth Council of UNICEF Senegal. Jerry coaches a women’s soccer team (Dakar Sacrée Queens) in Dakar and is among the ONE Champions since 2019.
